Nasci em 1969 em Chittagong-Bangladesh e minha infância foi pela Nicarágua, Panamá, Indonésia e Dinamarca. Viajar e conhecer novas culturas foi o patrimônio herdado pelos meus pais, que desde cedo, me inseriram nesta dinâmica. Lá pelos anos 80, junto com eles, criei raízes brasileiras, mais precisamente em São Paulo.
Aos 16, embarco em um curso livre de fotografia na extinta Imagem&Ação, que seria um divisor de águas. Descubro caminhos lúdicos e reveladores que as imagens podem proporcionar.
A fotografia me possibilita criar conexões íntimas entre as minhas emoções e meus olhares, e, com o passar do tempo se tornaram minha forma de navegar pela vida.
O hobby fotografar e a profissão fotógrafo se fundem em algum momento e nunca mais se separam. Em 2012 publico meu primeiro livro de fotografias “Caminhando com Portinari”, inspirado na cidade natal do pintor Candido Portinari. Confira!
I was born in Chittagong, Bangladesh, and in my childhood I travelled through Nicaragua, Panama , Indonesia and Denmark .Travelling and getting to know at an early age different cultures was a dynamic heritage I received from my parents. In the early eighties, together with my parents , we settled down for good in Brazil, thus creating Brazilian roots in São Paulo.
At the age of sixteen I entered a course of photography at the former Image & Ação School , and this was a decisive part in my life , where I discovered the creative and revealing world
that images can provide.
Photography has enabled me to create intimate connections between my emotions and my sight, throughout the years becoming my way and manner of sailing thru life.
Somehow photography as a hobby and a profession have blended together and never became separated since then. In 2012 I published my first Book “Caminhando com Portinari” ( Walking with Portinari ) , inspired by landscapes of Brodowski, town where the painter Candido Portinari was born. I have worked many years in the advertising area as well as editorial and corporate assignments.
At the moment I am working in the decoration and architectural area for clients such as Deca and Tok Stok.
